Hair / highlight question?

I got blonde highlights about 3 months ago (I have naturally dark brown hair). I'm getting sick of the highlights and want to go back to my natural color. (My highlights grew out and they look ugly now).





If I go to a salon and dye my hair the same color as my roots, will the color fade after a while?


I just want to get rid of the highlights. Also, how bad will it be for my hair. I want to get rid of all the highlights and have natural and healthy hair again.

Bleach is a b***h.


You can dye it like you said but it will fade, not to the extent of the blonde coming back through, but it will lighten up where the highlights are to a lighten colour than the rest of the hair.


Im afraid the only slution to that is to keep dyeing it until your highlights grow out completely.
