id give it at least a week ....dont want to be going green now!!

I would say at least until you have washed it 2/3 times, just to get rid of any remaining dye.
I would never swim in the pool without a protective product....but my salon recommends 48 hours
My hairderesser recommends at least a week and a decent anti-chlorine shampoo otherwise the colour is going to be shot to pieces

Please double check with a hairdresser, but I don't believe there is a minimum time - the important thing is to use the right products after swimming to remove the chemicals, from the pool, from your hair! Always wash your hair thoroughly after swimming. You could also use a protective conditioner before going in, Keratase do an excellent range, which would protect the hair from discolouration. If it does go green - I've friends who have suffered this fate! use KETCHUP - and no I'm not joking! Massage Ketchup all over like its shampoo, rinse and your hair will be restored to its correct colour!!
i asked my hairdresser this and she said it it was fine to go swimming and if the colour does go all weird then put tomato ketchup on it. my haor was fine i went swimming about 3 days later while on holiday.
